Rule Britania

"Hi, do you have North American to British power converters?"

"Yes we do. Are you American?"

"No," I replied. "Im from Canada. I'll take one of those please."

"Where are you from?"

"Toronto," I said to the shopkeeper.

"Is that in America? That will be 3 pound 50."

"No, it's in Canada."

"Canada is in North America?" he asked as he handed me back my change.

"Yes. Yes it is."

Today we are in Oxford. Just down the road from one of England's finest academic institutions. So, I was somewhat surprised with peoples confusion about the location of the country I live in. More confusing were the two young kids around the corner that were threatening our lighting guy, and up the road Dallas was getting yelled at by an old drunk weirdo. It seems like a lovely city. I can only imagine what will happen when the bars let out tonight when the show is finished.

We are falling into things right away. It's been a reunion with Anti Flag and Ghost of a Thousand. We have known both those bands for a while now, and the Four Years Strong dudes seem really nice and really bearded.

Tomorrow in Nottingham we are gonna be doing a signing so come say hello,
@ Non Stop (14 St James St)
5:00pm to 5:30pm

Cheers Friends,
wade.

  3. its weird and lame how some people think canada and america are the same. canada is very different from america and i would think that would be very clear to someone from england.

  12. Just got these developed after two months! They are from Warped Tour, obviously, in Calgary on the 12th of August :). Taken with a disposable and the lighting is really nice in my opinion considering the quality of a ten dollar camera.

Sadly the camera fucked up in the fourth and there is a white spot over George's eye :( and the rest aren't even worthy because you're all far back.

  17. Hey guys, just wanted to say that I've been a HUGE fan since right before 'Watch Out!' Your music has been a major influence and part of my life. I was so happy to meet George at the Orlando, Fl Warped Tour...although I think I was too star struck and must have seemed a little odd to George why a 28 year old guy comes running up and starts just rambling..... George was awesome still and let my friend and I take pictures with him. Still lots of things I wanted to say, but didn't want to be a bother......anyways....still rambling even on the intranets....come back to Orlando!
